Position in comparison with the level of epithelial cell nuclei. Each figure represents the percentage of IEL among the total pooled sum counted in a total of 50 villi in the jejunum of 5 mice (10 villi per mouse).

These figures are significantly different (P<0.05) from controls (higher percentages of IEL in apical and middle position).
